Palmistry

First the shape of the hand is studied. This reveals general details about the person's characteristics, and future. Then the lines on the hand are studied, to give a more detailed picture. There are three main lines, the life line, the head line and the heart line. These lines indicate how a person's life, intelligence, and love life will be, respectively. Many other smaller lines are also studied. Here is a list of some lines, and their role:

   The sun line. The deeper this line is, more and more fame and 
       respect is achieved.
   The fate line. This shows the how good or bad a person's luck is.
   The foreign line. This shows if the person will settle away from 
       his homeland or not.

Along with the hand shape, and the lines, also the mounts are studied. The mounts are the slightly protruding parts on your palm, right below your fingers. The higher each mount is, the stronger that planet which the mount represents will be. Here is the list of mounts, and the planet they represent:

   Mount of Jupiter. This is located below the index finger, and it represents Jupiter.
   Mount of Saturn. This is located below middle finger, and it represents Saturn.
   Mount of Sun. This is located below the ring finger, and it represents the Sun.
   Mount of Mercury. This is located below the small finger, and it represents Mercury.
